A special family gathering! And a 50th Anniversary!

A few weeks back when the sun was still shining and the area still looked summery I met with a fab family who had all travelled to be togther for their parents 50th Anniversary. It was all kept a strict surprise by their son, who had arranged everything with me

They held their celebration lunch at the stunning South Sands Hotel in Salcombe. It was a great shot to use the amazing spiral staircase, but i love the colours of the old lifeboat house next door, so we assembled a very relaxed family shoot out side against this great red stonework.

My brief was, fun, relaxed, natural. But of course with 17 people you do need a plan and you do need a little control! Im really pleased with final images, id be very proud to have family shots like this diplayed on my walls!
