Norsworthy Weddings - Rosie and Micheal - A Country Wedding - Sherford Devon

It was summer, blue skies, ripening corn and the marriage of Rosie and Micheal. Rosie's family have farmed ay Keyndeon Barton near Sherford for centuries. The famr dates back to the Doomsday Book and was a former monestry, it really is stunning, yet very understated as it still is very much a home and a working farm!

The Wedding took place in Sherford church iself very old dating from the 12th Century. This really was a great day! The bridal preparations at the family home, the walking to church up the lane by all the guests and Rosie's arrival on a trailor behind her dads vintage tractor!

I wanted to capture the occasion in a very country way, the wild flowers the green grass the bule skies.....

oh and Rosie also wanted photos of her beloved Horse, and I never thought a bride in a full wedding dress to get on her horse so easily!

The photograph of the shoes outside on the front door step is very Keynedon, ususally a place for farm boots!

The reception was held in one of the families fields in a great Marquee with views all across the South Hams Countryside.

A really great day and one that still makes me smile when I remeber back to it!
