My first full Hindu Wedding Ceremony and how amazing, outdoors in Devon in July, sunshine and lots of amazing colours. Matthew and Divya choose the beautiful and enclosed grounds of Buckland tout-Saints Hotel near Kingsbridge for their out door ceremony. The terrace leant itself perfectly to being tansformed into the Mandap where the ceremony would take place.
Divya wore her Mothers Wedding Gown, but admitted to having a new bodice made for her as she was such a differing size. The beautiful rich red looked amazing and the Henna and Jewllery all came together to transform Divya into the stunning Bride. The day was so very relaxed and personal, the ceremony was intimate and loving, and then straight into drinks and relaxing. The speeches were, as you can see in the photos, both touching and of good humour.
